Exhibition Name:

Description: Gunther von Hagens' BODY WORLDS presents a new traveling exhibition. One large dose of enlightenment is now encapsulated in a 4,500 sq. ft. version of the original BODY WORLDS. This new presentation focuses on contemporary diseases and ailments that afflict the public, and how everyday lifestyle choices can improve health and wellness.

• The exhibition focuses on common ailments and prevention tips for diseases affecting modern-day life such as diabetes, back pain, skin cancer, colon cancer, heart disease, lung disease and eating disorders. These and more are explored throughout the exhibition.
• One hundred real human specimens are included, all preserved by the revolutionary process of Plastination, invented by Dr. Gunther von Hagens.
• Specimens include iconic whole-body plastinates.
• Interactive elements include the "Anatomical Mirror," where visitors will see how vital organs are positioned in their own body and the "Tobacco Body," a time-lapse of smoking's impact on the body.
• BODY WORLDS exhibitions come with a collection of turnkey marketing programs, full graphics and educational tools. Educator guides for grades 5-8 and 9-12, student/family guides and worksheets are all available to enhance learning opportunities before and during the exhibition visit.
• A collection of real plastinated specimens and slices are available for hands-on learning in the gallery, to compliment museum programming.
• BODY WORLDS Rx was created after numerous requests from the public and museums to expand the reach of the exhibition for more limited spaces and environments.
