This exhibition gives us a unique look at one of the world's most famous cultural figures. Through the lens of Alfred Wertheimer we get to see Elvis Presley in performance, with his fans, in the recording studio, at home and with his family. The exhibition consists of forty 16" x 20" black-and-white silver prints taken in 1956. The first and last unguarded look at Elvis, they are a national treasure and they constitute an important visual document of post World War II America.
