The Informal Learning Review.

ILE is pleased to announce that Karen Wise is now the Associate Editor of the Informal Learning Review. She is the principal of Wise Strategic Advising and formerly Vice President, Education and Exhibits, at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. Karen's interests and expertise complement those of ILR Editor and Publisher Mac West, giving the publication additional strengths and insights. We are excited to have her join the ILR team.

ILE’s bi-monthly journal, the Informal Learning Review (ILR), is designed to bring research and understanding of the informal learning industry together for you. Six times a year, you can enjoy 24-32 pages of articles, essays, and listings that provoke thought, explore trends and issues, present case studies and book and exhibition reviews, and provide basic practical information.

Now in its 23rd year of publication, the ILR has a diverse, international subscriber list. Non-profit executives, exhibition designers, consultants, educational researchers, site managers, educators, and development directors worldwide all find it a useful part of their libraries or resource centers.  We hope that you too will become a subscriber to the ILR. Click here to subscribe.

Because of the worldwide distribution of ILR subscribers, we have different annual subscription rates by geography. They are: US$65 for U.S. addresses, US$72 for Canada and Mexico, and US$80 for other countries.  Note that these rates reflect an increase, due to changes in postage and printing costs over the past ten years.

We are always looking for new articles for the ILR.  If you have a paper that you would like to include or know of an article or presentation that would be appropriate, please contact us by phone or clicking the Contact Us Here button to the right.  We look forward to hearing from you!

If you are currently a subscriber, you can login to manage your subscriber account.  From there, you can also make a payment to ensure that there are no breaks in your receipt of the ILR.
