Traveling Exhibitions Forum.

Each year, ILE hosts the Traveling Exhibitions Forum breakfast at the American Alliance of Museums and at the Association of Science Technology Centers.  The forum is a great opportunity for museum program staff to learn about new and current traveling exhibitions and for producers of traveling exhibitions to showcase their products.

The success of the Traveling Exhibitions Forum depends on sponsors.  If you are interested in being a sponsor for an upcoming conference please contact us.

Thank you to everyone who attended the 2017 Traveling Exhibitions Forum at AAM in St. Louis. We are already planning for ASTC 2017 in San Jose in October and look forward to seeing everyone there. The Traveling Exhibitions Forum at ASTC 2017 will be held on Friday, October 20 from 5:00-7:00PM at the San Jose Marriott, located at 301 South Market Street, San Jose, CA 95113. The Forum will be held in Salon IV. Further details about the Traveling Exhibitions Forum will be sent out via our Forum email list and posted on the ILE website, Facebook page, and Twitter feed closer to the conference.

The presentations will begin promptly at 5:30 PM so speakers and attendees are encouraged to arrive early to grab a snack, drink, and seat and network with colleagues. This will be a late afternoon event in lieu of the breakfast meeting; we will follow the same format of short 2-minute presentations. Lite snacks will be served, and there will be a cash bar.

An invitation for speakers will be sent out approximately 4 weeks prior to the conference. To be added to the email list to receive the invitation or if you have any other questions about the Traveling Exhibitions Forum, please email us at ileinc@informallearning.com or call (720) 612-7476.  The event is free.

We would like to express our gratitude to our generous sponsors: The Shipping Monster, MuseumsPartner, Science North, Imagine Exhibitions, Museum of Science and Industry Chicago, SC Exhibitions, Science Museum of Minnesota, GES Entertainment, and The National GUITAR Museum. Without their support, this event would not be possible.

We are looking forward to seeing you in San Jose!
